Metering

Farmers Irrigation District continues to install flow regulators and flow meters in all delivery systems. The flow control devices make irrigation water readily available up to the limit of the user's individual legal water right, thus conserving water. Flow meters are installed for pipelines serving large volumes of water or are inappropriate for a flow restrictor.
