Metering

Farmers Irrigation District continues to install flow regulators or meters in all delivery systems. These flow control devices make irrigation water readily available up to the limit of the user’s individual legal water right, thus reducing waste and conserving water. Meters are installed for lines serving volumes of water too large or otherwise inappropriate for a flow restrictor.
